What is this tool?

In an instant check if your website SSL Certificate is correctly configured and your website redirects traffic from HTTP to HTTPS. This tool will also check if your website redirects to either yourwebsite.com or www.yourwebsite.com.

Why use this Tool?

To test if your website has an SSL Certificate it is very easy. The problem you will encounter is when you try to check if your website is correctly configured to redirect traffic from yourwebsite.com to www.yourwebsite.com (or vice versa). If you accessed a version that works, then your browser will keep defaulting to that version, giving you false positive (works on your browser, but not everyone else). To resolve this, you can either try using multiple browsers or devices or you can instantly use our tool to check that for you.

How to read this table?

Your website is accessible in 4 different ways. http://, http://www., https:// and https://www. If your website is configured correctly, then you should be redirecting all your traffic to either https://www. Or to https://. So, we expect 3 Status Codes 301 and one Status Code 200. Additionally, you should only have 1 unique redirect URL to your selected variation to prevent redirect chains. (i.e http://, http://www and (https:// or https://www.) should all redirect to the same URL.
